Want to change length of passcode, and to change from "Immediately" to another setting. But find no options at all on my new iphone 6s

Are you using Touch ID? If yes, then you cannot change from Immediately. To access that area, you need to go to Settings>Touch ID & Passcode. It will prompt you for the passcode to enter that area. After entering it, you will be presented with the area to Require Passcode. However, as I indicated earlier, if you are using Touch ID, your only choice is Immediately. If you want to change the length of the passcode, after getting into the settings area, tap on Change Passcode. You will have to enter the current passcode, then it will prompt you for the new one. If you had a 4-digit, it prompts you for a 6-digit, but if you click on Passcode Options, you will be presented with options to change to 4-digit or custom codes.
