I bought a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter for using it on Garageband. The problem is that the app keeps using my iPhone's mic instead of the input. I've seen people use just the adapter on the iOS version and Mac version. I don't own a Mac so I can't use that version of Garageband. I really can't afford an iRig. I know they aren't that expensive, but $30 isn't something I can spend on any given day. If I can get any help it would be greatly appreciated, if not, thanks for any suggestions anyways. To add on, I have tested the adapter to see if it's working using a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter and connecting my headphones through it. It sounds complicated and redundant, but it proved that the adapter works. I have tried turning on and off crosstalk protection and mono audio. As well as monitoring, but to no avail.
