I've removed and reinstalled the adapter.
I've tried force updating from within the driver.

Jan 13, 2016 7:20 PM in response to Techburghby Loner T,If you run Windows Update, if this update is offered, you should have a KB number. This KB number can be downloaded from Microsoft.

this is not a package it is complete windows update so it is not have KB number and you should update it from windows update panel.
it is an Insider fast ring update.

Jan 17, 2016 10:46 AM in response to Techburghby billfromduluth,I Had the same problem and changed the Broadcom driver in device manager (select broadcom network adapter) -> update driver -> browse my computer -> let me pick -> uncheck show compatable hardware -> then I selected Broadcom 802.11ac network adapter version: 7.35.118.40[7/24/2015]
started the update again and it worked. No issues with the connection after the change that I can see.

Jan 17, 2016 12:53 PM in response to Techburghby billfromduluth,UPDATE: Once I logged in the first time after the update, I had to go assign a driver again using the same process I outlined in my last post. I used the original driver that was listed in the error message. I then connected with no problem.
