can only connect to home wifi when manually inputting ip address
To connect to my home WIFI I have to manually input the IP address and DNS.
i am unable to automatically connect to any other wifi spots?

That you must enter the IP and DNS addresses makes it sound like you have a DNS Server issue. But then you state you can't connect to other Wi-Fi networks.
