Q: film uploaded with ios to the theater - not shown in the mac theater - how to get it?

i´ve uploaded a film to my theater on the ipad. I see this film on the iphone as well but I want to have it in the theater of  my mac. there it is not shown. how can I get it?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    Hi k.wi,

    I understand that you created a video in iMovie for iPad and want to watch it on your Mac. You have moved it to iMovie Theater but are not seeing it. Let's see if we can get this working for you. 

    I do know that it can take some time to synchronize things depending on how big the project is. You movie would need to upload to iCloud to then been seen on your Mac. I would take a look at the article below to look at the system requirements and make sure that you have upgraded to iCloud Drive. The article will make mention of iOS 8 and Os X Yosemite, but will be relevant to your issue as well.

    If that does not work, you could always export the video to the Photos app and then import it like you would do for pictures. Take a look at the user guide for iMovie for iPad for some additional exporting options.
