Automating the enable and disable of fax receive function.

I have an OS X server at home configured to receive faxes, among many other tasks. I only have one phone line for now and was wondering if there was an Apple script or the like that would allow me to remotely enable or disable the fax receive function. Perhaps like the WOL script I made where Entourage would execute an Apple script designed to wake a computer on the local network when it received an email with a specific subject. Then I could send an email to a special account instead or using a DDNS service to find my server with a remote client an make the change.
