Is the Apple Magic Mouse a Wi-Fi or a Bluetooth device?

I am using a latest model of the Apple Magic Mouse with my latest MacBook model and OS X and I think it has very beautiful design but the Magic Mouse is useless for my needs because it is not accurate at all.

I found the mouse very difficult to handle those times I need to move the mouse pointer/cursor slowly like 1 to 5 pixels aside I can feel the mouse does not respond immediately when I start moving it after few seconds of inactivity.

I am using a very old super cheap Microsoft mouse (wired) and it is very functional but of course not as beautiful as the Magic Mouse 🙂

After exploring all settings and configurations of the Apple's Magic Mouse, I am now basically looking at some mouse alternatives either USB or Wi-Fi but meanwhile I have been told that the Apple's Magic Mouse uses Bluetooth technology which is not as good and accurate as Wi-Fi.

The mouse specs says it uses both Bluetooh and Wi-Fi so now I am confused and I was wondering if there is anyone here that could provide some clarity on this matter.
