How do I remove songs from ipod shuffell

If your iPod shuffle is the current 4th gen model (or 3rd gen), and it is set up for manual loading (not automatic syncing), this is how to remove a song.
Select the shuffle in iTunes (click its device button on horizontal bar) to show its settings screen in iTunes. Along left side (in the sidebar), under On My Device, click Music. To the right, the list of songs on the shuffle is shown. Select a song you want to remove, and press Delete on keyboard. You can do this with more than one song selected at the same time. (The song is removed from the shuffle, not your iTunes library.)
