i have a bank that i have to use Google browser instead of safari to be able to download and view my monthly statement. The auto fill in safari on id and psd will not go automatic fill to this browser. What can be done to make it right??

i have safari 9.0.2 Have a MacBook Pro. Have OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.2 for operating system

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

Each browser is independent. Google Chrome cannot access the autofill list for Safari. Chrome needs to create its own.


Click on the three lines on the right top corner, and then on Settings. Then on "Show Advanced Settings" then make sure Enable AutoFill, and Save Passwords is On,


Then fill the form again, it should ask you to save the password for it.

I don't think that having your banking ID and password fill in automatically is a smart thing to do, no matter what browser you use. At the very least, use a private window and then log in the old-fashioned way, and only on a network you feel you can trust.


I use Firefox's master password feature, and store IDs and passwords for some sites, but never for a bank or financial entity. When I visit one of the sites for which I have saved a password, such as an online retailer, I have to type in the master password I set up for Firefox in order for user info and password to autofill..
