So when i start my computer up both my mouse and my keyboard are working. Then when my computer finally booted up my mouse is blinking and i can't move it or type on the keyboard. After a minute or two the computer automatically crashes giving me the error in Chinese. And yes i tried taking my mouse and keyboard out of the usb hub and plug them in directly and it worked fine.

The keyboard is supposed to be connected directly and not via a hub. If yo have a MBP the keyboard is part of the computer, so you are using an external keyboard and mouse. The mouse may work alone in the hub, but the keyboard is supposed to use a direct connection.

Also if it's a apple keyboard with a usb cable, there is a usb port on the keyboard for the mouse or adapter for wireless mouse, and they work fine together. Then you can use the hub for something else.
