Q: Confusing

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I run my Mac Air with a partition comprising Windows 7 and Lion. If I was to purchase the Apple tv 3rd generation could I run my laptop mirroring content on my HDTV running the windows software primarily or does it have to be on Lion and I tunes to be able to do that

I would appreciate any help.
