Q: (Clicks and pops) with Garageband app on iPad 4 with Apogee one

I use Garageband App on an iPad 4, connected to an Apogee 1 and I'm getting clicks and pops on the recording. I voice commercials from home and this is causing some major delays with my work. I thought it was my 460 Apex Mic so I would turn it on and off and beat it up (That's how some ppl fix things) and I would still get clicks and pops when recording... Sometimes when I turn my mic off and on, the clicking stops and I finally get it done but that can take hours sometimes. I just don't understand and I can't go out and buy all new equipment (I'm broke). I also tried just holding my ipad up to my face with garageband open and talking & the pops were there too! I'm starting to think it's Garageband... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi

I had this problem too and ended up approaching the Focusrite technical staff. (I am using the Focusrite iTrack Solo unit with GB).

This is their answer to me: "There is a known issue with the Apple iOS 9.2 software that can cause glitches, delays and general audio issues when using a number of brands audio interfaces via the lightning connector on your iPad.

This is likely to be the issue in this case, and it is something that we (as have many companies) raised with Apple in order to try and resolve."

    Hope this helps
