How to remove subscribed calendar from iOS9

Hello all,

This thread needs to be reopened. How does one remove/unsubscribe from a calendar in iOS9. Specifically the "US Holidays" calendar. I've tried deleting the calendar through the calendar app, as well as through Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars but was unsuccessful. This calendar is listed under "Other" calendars in my calendar app and has the "Subscribed" status underneath. I did not subscribe to this calendar, nor do I want to remain so, as I have a different holiday calendar I prefer. I've tried deleting all accounts synced to the app including iCloud, Gmail, etc...without success. Currently, there is no account linked to the app, but this "US Holidays" calendar remains under the "Other" calendars section. I had 3 total accounts synced. One iCloud, and two Gmail. I had visited each web version and had confirmed my subscriptions. This "US Holidays" calendar is a rouge calendar. I've used the "US Holidays" calendar as an example, but a "Birthdays" calendar is there as well. How the f*** do I get this thing gone!?! It is certainly driving my OCD tendencies mad.

Sincerely,

A frustrated calendar.app user
