Sound alert as my default calendar settings?

In Mountain Lion I was easilly setting default alerts that included specific sounds of my choice. Now you can only set one default alert TIMING, and the sound needs to be added manually every time. That's going backwards, I'd say....

...Unless I'm missing something? Please help! Thanks!
