Q: adding credit card linked to iTunes account

I'm using a iPhone 6.  I just took my phone in for service and they gave me new one.  I updated to iOS 9.2 and then restored the phone but my Apple Pay card is no longer on my phone.  I click to add to wallet but it is not pulling up the card I have linked to iTunes.  My Apple Watch still has it on there but it is telling me I need to pair it again and have to reset  the Apple Watch first in order to pair it.  I'm afraid to do so. I had a lot of trouble getting the card on the watch to begin with.  Shouldn't my card show up when I go to add a card in the wallet?  How can I link the card used in iTunes?  Do I have to scan the card?

I guess this Apple Support article will help you:

Set up and use Apple Pay on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

    Hi

For your watch to be able to sync with your iPhone, you will need to reset your watch manually and re-pair it:

    - On your watch, go to: Home screen (via a single press on the Digital Crown) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.

Then pair it via the standard process, choosing to Restore from Backup when offered the option:

Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

To add cards back to Apple Pay on your watch, follow the instructions here:

Set up and use Apple Pay with your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Thank you.  I will check those links out.  Perhaps I should have posted this under iPhone too.  I just don't understand why my linked card does not appear and it is prompting me to scan the card.  I don't think that happened when I first bought the phone.

It may help to restart your iPhone after first checking that you are signed in to iCloud and iTunes:

    - Settings > iCloud

    - Settings > iTunes & App Store

Otherwise, scan your card or enter the details manually.

You may also wish to check that cards were removed from Apple Pay on your old iPhone:

    - Go to https://icloud.com/

    - Sign in > click Settings > choose your old iPhone (if shown) > directly underneath where any cards are listed, click on Remove All.

My problem has been resolved.  I followed the advice below and checked my iTunes account and iCloud keychain.  Somehow my code in the iCloud keychain didn't work and I had to call apple support. I ended up having to reset it my keychain.  Well, after I did, I had to enter the card info anyway.  I thought maybe it would show up after resetting the iCloud keychain.  I restarted the iPhone just to be sure.  Still no card info.  So I ended up scanning my card again and it said it was already in my wallet.  I checked and it was even though it wasn't there a minute before.  Anyway, I'm thinking maybe it would have popped back in if I had scanned it in the first place.

Edit. I spoke too soon.  The apple watch gave me a new number so I have to contact my bank.  Yikes. I was afraid of that.
