Q: new Apple TV no Signal

Hi, I have a new Apple TV. It worked fine at home and I just tried connecting it at my in law's (they have the same model TV I do). It is connected to the HDMI 1 port and the TV says it receives no signal... Any ideas ?

Well, after testing, it's the TV that has a problem...

I'm inclined to think it's due to one of the following:

Wrong type of HDMI cable
HDMI cable not seated properly at one or both ends
HDMI cable defective
HDMI port on TV defective
Wrong output selected on Apple TV settings
Apple TV connected to a different HDMI port than TV is using.
