I recently reinstalled my OS and lost all of my apps. Reinstalled apps from the purchased apps but need to know how to get my music back in iTunes. most of which was purchased from iTunes

Sign into iTunes . Click on the playlist tab then select purchased, and they should be there. Select the ones you want to download.

welshcatholic, this is not the place to download past purchases. This is just a playlist and will not contain any music that is not in iTunes library . The instruction to get past purchases are in this support doc - Download your past purchases - Apple Support

Did you back up your music prior to reinstall. If so, you should be able to restore from this. Otherwise Download your past purchases - Apple Support

Thanks for correcting me. 🙂 Just realised my mistake after reading the information. It's a place I'm always hiding past purchases, so I should have known 😊
