Q: Cannot download apps

Setting up a new school ipad, done this at least 90 times. Wifi connected, I can search on safari, looks like app store connects I can see previous purchases, which I am trying to download to this ipad. When a troubleshooting list said check for updates, I tried and it give me an error message "an error occurred" I have turned wifi off and back on again, restarted ipad. what else???

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore.

Try all of those.

Your school's MobileDeviceManager has likely set up "restrictions" as a deployment practice to prevent ya'll from doing what you are attempting to do... same thing as "drawing on textbook pages"?
