only bluetooth midi devices supported after update

Previously I have been able to connect my MIDI Controller keyboard to my iPad Air via the camera connector and control garage band. Since updating the software I can no longer get them to talk to each other and I notice that under MIDI there is only the facility to add Bluetooth MIDI devices.

Incidentally everything still works through my iPhone 5s, which is also up to date.

Please help as this has largely negated the reason for buying the iPad in the first place.
