Won't load after login

Hello all,

i am trying to login to my account on my MacBook Pro. After accepting the password I get the loading wheel and it won't progress from there. I get the same thing when I try in safe mode. However, I have another username to log onto my Mac. It was created awhile back when I was trouble shooting another problem. This account I can login only while in safe mode. I also tried to start the mac in diagnostic mode however, I am have issues with the connection.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated!!
