What sort of url is accepted for an iAd?

I have a banner iAd that runs on all devices. I'd like to link to a subdomain; currently, I can only link to http://www.lastresortcomedy.com/ and not http://www.lastresortcomedy.com/#!wednesdays-at-town-tavern/c1xlx for an ad for a Wednesday show. I have tried a 301 redirect to http://www.lastresortcomedy.com/wednesdays, as the wizard will allow me to go to http://www.lastresortcomedy.com/home. It still does not accept it.

What reason cannot I not go to a subdomain? Google and Facebook ads let me. Is there a way to fix this problem with a 301 or something else, or is this an Apple thing?
