Q: Can't be detected as USB camera device on Win 10.
Hello communities,
Last night, I just found my iPhone 6 (iOS 9.2) couldn't be detected as USB camera device on Win 10 as it used to be.
I searched some articles, and here are what I tried:
1. Update driver via C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers, the "usbaapl64" file.
2. Uninstall all Apple software and then reinstall them according to pages below:
3. iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
4. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Windows - Apple Support
5. Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support
And all the ways have failed.
At last, I tried reinstalling the whole OS on my laptop, after the re-installation completed, my phone could be detected as USB device once again at first, but soon after I installed iTunes and used Windows Update, the problem showed up again.
Also tried connecting the phone to my other laptop, which is also Win 10 system but without iTunes installed, and everything works fine as normal.
According to these, I thought the problem may caused by iTunes itself, something's wrong between the latest version iTunes and Win 10 system.
iPhone can't be detected as USB device on my laptop when iTunes is installed, this make me unable to export photos in my camera roll to my PC.
But my iTunes can detect my iPhone, just isn't show up in My Computer with other hard disks.
Could somebody help me to solve this problem? So many photos stuck in my camera roll.
Thanks in advance !
iPhone 6, iOS 9.2, null
