Can't export project - Deleted original files!

I created a project using iMovie on my iPhone and didn't have enough space to export the project when I was finished so I deleted the original files not thinking it would effect the project. iMovie is telling me that it can't export the project because it can't find the files. The project will still play so I'm hoping someone knows how to make this happen :/. I tried to use recovery software to get the original files back but that was unsuccessful. Please help.
