Q: Ipod Classic do not play music - stuck at 0:00

Hi, I have an Ipod classic 60 Gb which stoppoed playing music.

It turns on, is able to browse music but when I click on play, it does not play or moves past 0:00 (see picture).

Some time ago, I went into diagnostic mode (I think that is the name) and verified some parameters. Everything looked ok, including detection of headphone connection/disconnection.

anybody knows what is happening?

If you have not already, do a Reset (restart) on iPod

Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support (see section iPod with a click wheel)

If you did that already and it does not help, you may want to do a Restore on the iPod using iTunes. This erases the iPod, reinstalls its software, and sets it to default settings. The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary settings screen in iTunes.

Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

After the Restore, re-sync your iPod from your iTunes library. If the problem was data corruption, and the iPod does not have a hardware problem, this issue should be resolved.
