Q: Need some reliable 3rd Party websites

I am finally going to try and get around to getting my music back in order. I tried a 3rd Party before, but I couldn't figure anything out, so I canceled it. So, I'm going to try again, but I need to see if anyone know of any good reliable 3rd Party sites that I can use to transfer music.

I've been having this problem with my iPod for a while. When I went to the Apple Store, the guy there told me that I'm missing about 100 songs and that the only way for me to keep the songs is to use a 3rd Party site. I want to get those 100 songs put on my iPod so that I can finally sync them together. He told met that if I were to sync it now, I would lose ALL 100 of those songs, and I don't want to do that. So, I have to go with a 3rd Party. There were a few people who told me about some 3rd Party sites, but I can't remember which ones they were.

Does anyone have some good reliable 3rd Party sites that they have used and can guarantee that it will work and I'll get my iPod back to the way it's supposed to be?

Thanks,

Raven.

Your actual problem is not clear.  To organize songs and load your iPod, use iTunes.  No "3rd Party websites" needed.

If you are saying you have songs on your iPod that are not in your computer's iTunes library, and they are not songs purchased from the iTunes Store, and you don't have a backup or original source material, then you need a third-party (not from Apple) method or utility to transfer from iPod to computer.  Do an Internet search on "ipod transfer music," and you should get some useful links, including an article by CNET on the topic (a method that does not require any software for a Windows user).

Once the songs are on your computer, add them to your iTunes library.  After confirming all of your songs are there, sync your iPod as desired.

All my songs on my 2 iPods are from iTunes, but something happened to my computer and it caused all the music to be changed. I went to the Apple Store and they said the only way for me to get my music back in my music library is for a 3rd Party. And because of this problem I can't sync the music.

All my songs on my 2 iPods are from iTunes...

If all of your songs were purchased from the iTunes Store, you can download them again at no cost.  This document explains how to do it.

Download your past purchases - Apple Support

Your previous purchases are recorded by the iTunes Store, based on the Apple ID (iTunes Store account) you used to make the purchases.  It has nothing to do with your computer or whatever happened that "caused all the music to be changed."

Unless there is an important bit of missing detail (or misunderstanding) in this discussion, there is no need to use third-party software if the songs on your two iPods are from the iTunes Store.

What happens if the songs you got from iTunes are no longer there, but you still have it in your playlist? Plus, when I checked my iTunes media file, most of the artists are not even there. How do I get those artists onto the iTunes media file without erasing any of the songs? I could go back through all of the songs and try redownloading them, but some of my songs are old and they may not be available on iTunes anymore. I don't want to lose those songs.

The other thing is that I can't move any of my songs around. And after I updated my iTunes, I went and unplugged the iPod and checked to see if any of the songs have been moved around, but they haven't. They are still the same songs that I've been listening too for a while, not in the order that they show on iTunes.

This is the problem that I've been having for quite some time. I wish it was easy to just get the iPods to work correctly without any headaches. I want the iPod to go along with what is on iTunes. But, I'll see what I can do about redownloading the songs I have. I'm just wondering what to do about the songs that I can't find on iTunes anymore.

    Thanks.

If the tracks you are talking about are on your iPod nano see Recover media from an iPod.
