Multiple messages with only the first saying "Delivered"?
I've sent multiple messages to a person over a couple of hours, but the only one that says "Delivered" is the first one I sent. what does this mean?

It sounds like you're sending SMS/iMessages but it's unclear if they're being delivered to one contact.
You should see a red exclamation point next to messages if they're not delivered, as seen in If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
