Q: Bluetooth is disabled and won't turn on with update to 10.11.2. Why and how can it be fixed?

Bluetooth is disabled on my Macbook Pro after updating to 10.11.2 and the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar displays as 'not available'. In Settings/Network it shows 'not connected' and the 'Turn on Bluetooth' button is grayed out. Please help! Is there something that I need to do or how can this be fixed?

Hello there cjby,

It sounds like bluetooth isn't working correctly on your Mac after a recent update. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article to help you out here:

Your Bluetooth devices may suddenly become unresponsive, or Bluetooth features may not be available at all on your Mac.
Shut down your Mac, disconnect all USB devices for two minutes, start up, and re-connect your USB devices once again.
