Hi

The icon relates to Handoff, a continuity feature that enables you to start something on one device and then continue it on another.

Depending upon how your watch is configured and used, it can be normal / expected behaviour for the Handoff icon to keep appearing on your Mac in the way that you describe.

For example:

- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Wake Screen - under On Wrist Raise, select Resume Last Activity.

- On your watch, open the Messages app and view an existing conversation.

- Lower your wrist so that the watch screen sleeps.

- When you raise your wrist to wake the screen again, your watch will return to that conversation in Messages and the Handoff icon will appear in the Dock on your Mac.

Accessing Messages conversations on your watch (regardless of Wake Screen settings) will also cause the Handoff icon to be shown.
