Iphone and Ipad Mail Yahoo account inbox.

All the messages contained in my ipad and iphone mail Yahoo account inbox have disappeared and it does not update. All the other folders. draft, sent, junk etc are intact and update. If I go into mail on the imac the inbox is intact and all the messages are there and update. I have tried deleting the account and reinstalling but that has not corrected this. Any help appriciated.

Hi,

I don't use the email part of my Yahoo account so I don't know if it can be set up as an IMAP or POP account.

If POP and you want to see the emails on multiple devices then this settings needs to be unticked.

I.e. The Message as they are called here needs to be left on the Server so that the other devices can also access it.
