I want to restore my new iphone 6s but the backup I want to use has a different phone name. Will this be a problem?

Yes, I used this Iphone name on my 5c and backed it up before I got my new phone.
I am using ios9 on my 6S as well as my old 5c
Ok.. ion you have confidence that the names "match" then you should get back your data after the restore.
FYI... you can change that name on a phone easily. Go to Settings > General > About > Name
