Q: pictures not syncing through iCloud from iPhone to mac

I have photos checked on iCloud on my phone and macbook pro.  I have plenty of room on iCloud and I have a monthly acct for unlimited photo syncing, My icloud acct is correct on both devices. I am sure there is something obvious I am overlooking.

    There is no unlimited account.

     

    Please start by telling us your “iCloud Photo Library” and “My Photo Stream” settings on all of your devices. (Settings > Photos & Camera on your iOS device and Photos > Preferences > iCloud on your Mac)


    Please also advise if there is any ongoing sync activity on any of your devices (Activity includes uploading, updating, downloading or preparing).


    If you have activity in any of these places, how long has it been like this.

    Try going to iCloud.com to see if the items are there and whether they are from the device or the computer. That should show whether the device or the computer isn't syncing. If the computer, try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop syncing. Wait a couple of minutes, then recheck syncing. If the device, go to Settings/iCloud and do the above.

    I have this same problem and I tried this and found that it is my computer that is not syncing. However, I followed these instructions and it is still not syncing.

    Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
