need help with movie timing of slides

Hi,

I need help with movie timing of slides in keynote when transitioning build in and out's

in the self playing document - I set both to = 0 for trans and builds

I want to manage the timing with animation build order delays

can't seem to get it right

One problem is after build in trans - can I set something to start on slide for several seconds before Build out?

so...

build in trans = 1

wait = 3 sec

start build out = 1

something like that?

---

kind of like adding an action in between build IN / OUT that just waits and does nothing.... do they have a built in way to do that?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), null

I suggest using recorded slideshow where you tell Keynote when to advance, while playing back the presentation.

in Keynote go to: Play > Recorded Slideshow

  1. if not recording a narration; click the mute button
  2. click red record button to start the recording session
  3. after the countdown, the timer will start
  4. press right arrow key on keyboard to go to next slide, build or action
  5. click red record button to end recording
  6. press escape key to return to Keynote
