Q: Trying to backup iCloud from my old phone to new one and its says iCloud back is not compatible with iOS (9.1) help!!!

Cannot backup iCloud from old phone to new one as it says no iCloud backups compatible with version on iOS (9.1) really confused please help!!!r

This means that your backup was created on an iOS version different from iOS 9.1, probably iOS 8.
To sync backup to a device, both backup and iOS version on your device should be the same.

I Have now started my new phone without icloud back up and have updated iOS can I still get my photos contacts etc onto my new phone and if so how??
