How to receive Apple (iCloud) mail on Android cell phone

Hi Folks,

Since upgrading to ElCapitan on my iMac I have been unable to receive any iCloud email messages on my Nokia cell phone. I will be extremely grateful if anyone can instruct me on how In should proceed in order to overcome this problem.

All suggestions/advice will be greatly appreciate.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), Memory:12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Upgrading your iMac has absolutely nothing to do with the settings of your iCloud account or your ability to get email on your Nokia cell phone.

However, your iMac may be configured to download and remove the messages before your Nokia sees them.

  • On your iMac, open Mail.
  • Go to Preferences -> Accounts. Is it configured to use POP to access your iCloud? If so, click on the account and then on "Advanced". Disabled the option to "Remove copy from server after retrieving a message"
