After Dark Screensaver for Mac SE

I am trying to install After Dark on a MAC SE I recently purchased. When the After Dark disc is inserted for installation, I am prompted to provide a a serial# to activate the installation. Unfortunately, while I have the box and manual for the program, I do not have the Registration Card that was originally inserted in the box. That seems to be the only place the # would be available as there is no number on the box or manual other than a UPC code, and the # on the disc itself prompts an invalid response when inserted. Any help or suggestions? Thanks.

Why are you posting this in 2016 in an iPad forum? You should be posting in 1992 in a Mac SE forum.

The nearest forum here is Older Hardware - however this is really a question to do with After Dark which hasn't been available for years, and though you might be lucky it's a slim chance that anyone now will know what - if anything - you can do. After Dark was made by Berkeley Systems which was taken over by iWin.com fifteen years ago so there's little chance of any help there.

Thanks Roger. I followed the corporate history of Berkeley Systems and ended up at Activision. And you're correct, there was no help there at all. But thanks for the Older Hardware tip. I'll follow it up.

You might want to try getting hold of a copy of Serialbox. Google it. I imagine this would be fairly legal. After Dark must be abandonware. If it isn't you can say that I gave you my license – I bought it all those years ago. Flying Toasters and all that.
