I understand that your iPhone will not complete a sync with iTunes. I would start with going through the troubleshooting steps in the article below. Make sure to attempt a sync after each step.
Resolve issues between iTunes and third-party security software
If the issue persist and you have the option to sync photos selected, let's delete the iPod Photo Cache and attempt the sync again. The article below will show you how to locate this folder.
