Does any one know if the BYU-TV app is available for the latest Apple TV (tvOS)? I am not able to find a complete list of tvOS apps and I don't want to buy an Apple TV unless I can find out in advance. Thanks
Well, I just went to the byu-tv website and found out that it only works on Apple TV through AirPlay from an iOS device.
Listing on their website does not mention Apple Tv except for Airplay which one can assume means there's no App for Apple TV yet or it would have been mentioned.
The BYUtv app for AppleTV is currently in development (I'm the one responsible for it).
Any idea on the timeline when this is expected to be released?
Can't say for sure. Hoping for late Q1, early Q2. Got a lot going right now. 🙂
I Can't wait! That will be so awesome. Best of luck with the development team. If it will be anything like the app for the iPad, an Apple TV app for the new Apple TV (TVOS) is destined to be a huge hit. We're pulling for you!

As of May 17, 2016 the BYUtv app is available on the 4th gen AppleTV -- Go download it.
Yes. Just do a Siri search in the app store for BYU.
