Q: Charging

Hi

My iPhone 4S had 100% charge last night. Today morning, when I woke up, I saw it was declined to 5%. Normally it must be declined to 90% minimally. What is your idea about? Meanwhile last time I charged the battery not via its charger, but with its USB Plug and from a computer. Was it wrong?

Thanx

    Hi Simbajooon,

I'm assuming from your question that you did not have your iPhone plugged into a power outlet overnight when it drained from 100% down to 5%?   I can't tell you why it drained, but I can give you some advice regarding charging your iPhone and customizing the settings to optimize your battery life.

As a test, I would suggest that you close all of the open apps on your iPhone, use the USB power adapter that came with your iPhone and plug it into a wall outlet to charge it to 100%.  Then leave the iPhone unplugged overnight and see if you get the same result.  If you do, then the battery may need to be serviced.  Click on the resources below for more information.
