Q: How do you get synced albums of photos from iPad to Mac?

We have all our pics for work broke down into albums. This was done in iPhoto on a MacBook Pro that is no longer working. We synced our salesmens iPads with these albums off iTunes. Of course the synced albums are only accessible on the old laptop since they are saved in iPhoto there. Is there any way to somehow get the albums from an iPad to my new MacBook so I can continue to add them to new iPads as we get them?

    Hello Sheri0082,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are looking to recover some photos synced to an iPad to your computer. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to sync the photos back, see the following:

    • You can't reimport pictures synced from your computer to your device back to your computer. You can only import pictures taken by your device, or saved to it, from your device to your computer. If you need to retrieve synced photos from your device, email the photos from the device to yourself. Then download the photos from the emails to your computer.

Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes

One other option might to address it from the "non-working" MacBook Pro. You don't say what is wrong with the MacBook, if the HD still works, a service provider might be able to remove the HD and retrieve the information from the HD for you.

    Best Regards.
