VPN MMS

I have an IKEv2 Always-On VPN. Everything works great except for a few different things. The most important thing I can't get to work is MMS support (Sending a text message NOT iMessage with a picture).

Is there a way to make MMS work while VPNed?

The other thing I can't get to work is VoLTE.

In Apple configurator, I see the Service Exceptions, but it only has "Voice Mail" and "AirPrint". Because I am VPNed, it can't access my carriers "internal" site to enable it 😟

No. If the VPN you're using routes ALL data traffic through the VPN, then you will not be able to send or receive MMS messages. MMS requires a cellular data connection. The VPN is 'taking over' that connection. The data will not route properly to your carrier as it originates from a network other than theirs (because of the VPN).

Were you able to find a solution to this issue? We are experiencing same exact problem in our company. MMS is not working via always on VPN in private APN setup.

We are having the same exact problem. Is there any kind of resolution from Apple for this????
