Can't login to apple store with one of the apple IDs on my iphone 6s

I tried to login to apple store with an Apple ID, but it only gave me a window-shake after I typed in the info and clicked on "Sign in". I tried with another Apple ID, and it worked. I've reset the passwords for several times, so the passwords should be correct, but none of them worked for this Apple ID. Could someone please help me find out how to solve this?


Note: The working apple ID is for China app store, and the Apple ID with issue is for U.S. app store. I just came back from China, and found this issue when I tried to switch back to U.S. app store.

Thanks a lot for replying to my question.


I see that the article you shared with me was about the same Apple ID being used in different region. My current issue is that I can't even login to one of my Apple ID (my_username@gmail.com), so I can't get through to the "View Apple ID" section and change the region. Do you have any suggestions about how I can login to this Apple ID on my iphone?

Thanks again for your help. Actually I saw the link you shared, and I didn't see any scenario that I can fall into. When I login to itunes store on my macbook, the region/country is indeed United States.


When I tried to login to apple store with this ID, it only told me that "Verification Failed - Your Apple ID or password is incorrect.". The same Apple ID/password can login to itunes on my macbook though, so the account should be fine.


Any suggestions??
