Q: Thunderbolt display issue

I am using Macbook Pro 13 inch retina display. I have latest OS and all updates. When i connect to thunderbolt display it works for 2 min and then it goes blank on display. I have now used two different Macbook pro with same display and it does the same thing ?

 

Not sure what is the real issue.

    I just started having the same issue. It's been working perfectly with my MacBook Pro 15 Retina. Have latest OS and updates. I can plug in and use other Thunderbolt Displays fine. When I plug into my Thunderbolt Display it connects and works, about 30 seconds later it disconnects. I can charge my phone off the thunderbolt, so it is getting power.

     

    I'm thinking it's something wrong with the Display itself or the Thunderbolt cable? But the cable seems to be hardwired in, so I can't test that...
