I have tried to download OSX 10.11.3 twice. Both times it gives a message saying it couldn’t be verified, that all the parts weren’t downloaded, etc.
Both downloads went smoothly (about 40 mins), and both failed with the same message.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11)
10.11.3 is a beta program. under the EULA we can only discuss functionality or lack of it in the developers forums.
that being said turn off and fully uninstall any and all DL managers, any software that "cleans your mac", "keeps you mac" and/or any Anti-Virus you have on the system.
it appears that 10.11.3 has been released, and not in beta.
Might give it a little bit and allow for the heavy traffic on the download site. Otherwise, do as Jimmy suggested.
I think heavy traffic may be the cause. I am not a beta user.
Sort of a pain to wait another 40mins for the third time.

wait till later tonight, when the traffic may be a little lower. Start the down load before you go to bed, and enjoy a good nights sleep.
I had the same issue. I downloaded the update from the website and it works. I don´t know why?

The update on the support website and the App Store might be using different servers.
What does it mean: Update could not be verified.
Is the download corrupted or is there no connection to apple to verifiy the update?
Try the Combo update from Apple Support pages.
The third time it worked. About 5 hours after the first two tries. The only meaning I can gve to the “not verified” comment is that at the end of the download process, some final signatures and authorizations were either garbled or missing.
The third time it only took about 15 minutes. I guess it sensed that the bulk had alread been downloaded and all it needed to do was finish.
I used this page (Apple - Support - Downloads) to perform my downloads of the update and combo update this morning, and it went fairly fast. First day of a release is always a bad idea, since everyone wants to download. also, it is better to allow someone else to potentially find any issues with a new realize, instead of being someone else warning not to do something.
COSMAN: I suspect you are correct that the download didd not quite finish downloading all essential items to include the final signatures or authorizations. It has happened to me several times, especially from the App store on a big realize, on the first day. Patience...
It just showed up about an hour ago an I'm on the East Coast of the US, so it could be specific to my local but I'm giving it a week of reading the new posts before I pull the trigger. Either way it appears to be official, 10.11.3 is FDA approved.
