My macbook pro 13" retina is making a noise, that sounds like a click. It happens mostly when I have multiple apps open or when im watching a movie or something like that. First i thought it was from the speaker but it also happens when im on mute. Can someone help me?

I have been having this very same issue ever since I got the 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display. I find the noise to be extremely annoying especially since I never had this issue with the two other 13" Macbook Pros (with Retina) that I've owned. I've also noticed that the noise mostly happens when multiple processes/apps are running; but more specifically, in situations where the fan is running; and, especially when the fan is in the process of slowing down...This is why I think the fan might be the source of all the clicking.
Any explanations/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could download and run SMC Fan Control. That would tell you what the fan is doing. If it is not affecting the way the computer rins. That could very well be it. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/47386/macs-fan-control If the noise is coming from up by the front that could be fan. If by the bottom then it could be the hard drive.
