iphone is disabled

Hi,


My boss forgot the passcode on iphone 5s, but he don't mind to reset the iphone, so I assisted him to reset the iphone as below link instructions - "erase your device with recovery mode",

when I hold down the "home" button and connect the cable, iTunes prompt following screen, then I follow the steps and click "update" button

but after around 10 minutes, it prompt below message:


iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a passcode............., any suggestion how to solve below problem, many thanks.
