Random Volume
something really annoying has happened to my imovie where every single time my cursor skims over anything the sound plays, opposed to it waiting for me to press play. It's driving me insane. Does anybody know how to fix this???

Hey there Booooooooooo,
I understand that you are skimming video in a project in iMovie and wish to turn off the audio when doing this. Here are the steps for controlling that behavior:
Turn audio skimming on and off
Choose View > Audio Skimming (or press Shift–S).
Note: Audio skimming is off by default.
