I understand that messages sent from your iPhone are being sent from your email address rather than your phone number. In such a situation you may need to re-link your iPhone's phone number and Apple ID as detailed in the article linked below.
If this doesn't restore your ability to send messages from your iPhone's number, follow the steps to unlink your phone number at the bottom of the article first, then start again from the top to re-link your number.
