Jan 20, 2016 6:46 AM in response to PyrodsTechnologyby Allan Jones,I'm not away of any G4 desktops that have PCMCIA ports. Perhaps you have a PowerBook G4?

Jan 20, 2016 11:02 AM in response to Allan Jonesby PyrodsTechnology,Hi Allan , i forgot to mention that the slot is inside the G4, you have to open the side panel to acces it. The slot is in the motherboard. The G4 is running on OSX 10.5.8 if this is relevant

Jan 20, 2016 11:08 AM in response to PyrodsTechnologyby BDAqua,Might that actually be the Airport Card slot?

Jan 20, 2016 12:26 PM in response to BDAquaby PyrodsTechnology, well, there is only this PCMCIA slot, so yes it could be the airport card slot

Jan 20, 2016 12:45 PM in response to PyrodsTechnologyby BDAqua,I'm pretty sure it is, but I know of no drivers to address it as a drive... if there were I'm fairly certain you'd have to disable any Wifi/Airport kexts.

Jan 20, 2016 2:20 PM in response to PyrodsTechnologyby Jan Hedlund,>I need to transfer in this CF card some hundreds jpg pictures that then i will show on a TV set that has the PCMCIA slot on the rear.
I guess that it would be correct to assume that the TV set has support for a PC Card (PCMCIA) adapter for memory cards (like CompactFlash). Some TV/media receivers have such a slot (details should be in the manual; you may want to post the exact TV make/model if in doubt). That is, not a CI slot merely for conditional access modules (which have a similar form factor).
With a Power Macintosh G4 desktop computer, use an appropriate external USB memory card reader capable of handling CompactFlash.

Jan 21, 2016 1:23 AM in response to Jan Hedlundby PyrodsTechnology,The TV set is LG model 37LG3000. I was reading now on the net that it is possible to upgrade the USB port on the rear, that is reserved for service only by factory. With the USB port upgraded should be very simple to solve my problem. Anyway thak you all, great support communities !
