El Capitan calendar search not working properly

El Capitan 10.11.3 (15D21) Calendar - search does not find event even if it is on the screen when I enter the search criteria. It finds some occurrences sometimes, but sometimes none of the events are found. I had hoped this version would fix this search issue, but no.
