I understand that you are unable to send iMessages or text through the Messages application. Since restarting your iPhone or resetting network settings didn't resolve the issue, try all remaining troubleshooting steps in the article below.

Jan 21, 2016 4:27 PM in response to dtm33by Lee1440,All I had to do was go into Settings, Messages, and turn it back on. The update turned it off by default, which is really annoying. Then I had to sign in with my Apple ID and do all that. But now it's working fine. Super annoying, but there ya have it.
